Garlic-Pepper Almonds

6 C whole unblanched almonds
4 Tbsp butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
2-3 tsp pepper

Heat slow cooker on high for 15 minutes; add almonds. Drizzle butter over almonds and toss. Sprinkle with garlic and pepper and toss. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Turn heat to high; uncover and cook for 30 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes. Remove from slow cooker and cool.
